Description

This position is for a person with a strong background in logistics and warehouse operations.
Job Details & Responsibilities
    Accountable for logistics management: inbound and outbound transportation, warehousing, order fulfillment, maintaining ERP systems, inventory control and management of third-party logistics service providers.
    Responsible for leading, directing, and optimizing our global distribution.
    Identifies and implements improvement opportunities
    Manage freight program and carrier networks to optimize costs and service levels.
    Complies with transportation legislation and customs regulations.
    Ensure proper storage of inventory.
    Orders and manages shipping materials.
    Addresses customer feedback related to distribution
    Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Skills & Requirements
    The ability to successfully leverage proprietary software systems and enhance report generation: Inventory management, warehouse management, IT systems.
    Proven analytical, problem solving, problem management, and conceptual skills, including the ability to make practical business decisions from assessing operational and financial data.
    Minimum of 2 years warehouse, distribution, inventory, logistics experience.
    Degree in business operation, supply chain, logistics or transportation management is a requirement.
    A proven ability to reduce operational costs and efficiencies.
    Expertise with vendor contract negotiations re logistics/transportation. Knowledgeable in domestic and international logistics/ transportation.
     3PL inventory management skills are needed.
    Proficient with Microsoft Office
    Has the ability to provide leadership, direction and coaching to a culturally diverse team with varied skills.
    You have excellent written and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated negotiation skills.
    You are highly organized.
