Description

Position Description

We currently have an opening for a Civil Engineer (Intermediate) in our Saskatoon and/or Prince Albert offices. You will be involved in the design and technical delivery of transportation and infrastructure projects for both public and private sector clients. Projects may include water, sanitary, and storm pipelines, and roadways. Duties will include: project management; functional, preliminary and detailed design; cost estimating; tender preparation; contract administration; client liaison; and quality control and quality assurance. You will also provide support to other members of our team and complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you will bring to the table:

Undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution
P.Eng. or eligible for P.Eng. licensing with APEGS  
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in engineering design
Experience in planning and undertaking detailed visual inspections and condition surveys
Experience in cost estimating, tender preparation, contract administration, and resident inspection
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
Proven project management skills
Proven experience managing client expectations
Ability to write technical reports and proposals
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to work within tight deadlines and schedules
Possess a valid class 5 driver's license
Willingness and ability to travel within SK as required
