Our client is a Canadian owned and operated food and ingredients company. The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational activities at their Lajord facility and for managing employees and ensuring the facilities run efficiently in a safe and health work environment.

The ideal candidate will have at minimum of seven years' grain handling or specialty crop industry experience. Candidates must have a strong business mindset with the ability to drive growth and volume combined with strong people management skills. Mechanical ability to operate and maintain grain processing equipment is required along with ability to do office-related administrative work. A degree in Agriculture, Business Management or equivalent is preferred but related experience is acceptable in lieu. A valid class 5 driver's license is required.
