What You Will Be Doing:
As a Carpenter you will assist in all aspects of Meridians residential and commercial construction projects. You will observe and follow all safety rules and procedures while on site.
How You Will Succeed:
You are hard-working, reliable and produce quality work in a timely fashion. You have the ability to multi-task and shift focus multiple times in a day. You are conscientious of the safety of yourself and others while working. You are a problem solver and detail oriented.
What You Will Need:
Valid drivers license
Physically fit
Steel toed boots, tool belt and basic hand tools
Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Carpenter in residential/commercial construction
Ability to interpret construction drawings
Ability to use basic power tools
Willing to work weekends
Good communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
WHMIS and Fall Protection an asset but not required
Additional safety and operator tickets are an asset but not required
Transportation/Travel Information
- Own transportation
- Valid driver's licence
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- WHMIS Certificate
Additional Skills
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
