Description

Duties & Responsibilities:  
    A variety of labour and equipment operation duties, including yard maintenance (mowing with various equipment, cleaning up wind-blown litter, etc.) and baling of recyclable materials.
    Scaling trucks in and out and some computer/email duties.
    Loading trailers and quality control for Recycle products.
    Operation of Roll off, Front end, and Side Load waste and recycling collection equipment as coverage is needed
    Container maintenance, equipment maintenance, building and facilities work
    Operate forklift, and skidsteer in a safe and efficient way
    Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
    Valid class 3A or 1A license with clean drivers abstract as well as own reliable transportation to and from facilities
    Previous equipment operation experience an asset
    Farm background considered an asset
    Ability to multi-task
    Ability to work with little or no supervision
    Ability to work in a team environment
    Clean drivers abstract
    As a condition of employment, all new employees to safety sensitive positions must successfully pass a substance test within a two-week period of their hiring date. A criminal record check will also be required.
