The Branch Manager will oversee day-to-day operations in Moose Jaw by Developing a positive work culture, Setting a high standard of communication, Providing clear expectations, and Offering constructive feedback.
The Incumbent Provides oversight of Branch Programming Including: Financial management, Meeting program outcomes and Controlling spending. Duties include Strategic planning, Creating grant applications, Liaising with funding partners, Applying best practices, Managing performance, Leading team meetings and Assisting staff with complex case planning. Also coordinating staffing and scheduling, Interviewing, Managing performance and discipline, Assist with new hire orientation, Provide training and coaching, and Manage timesheets and other human resource functions as required. They will Review services and programs in conjunction with the Provincial Management team, Assign work, Develop new programs, Handle project reporting, and Increase the profile of the organization.
Requires a Bachelors degree in Human Services, 3 years of work experience in a residential setting, with Experience in intensive case management, More than 2 years of experience in a unionized supervisory role. Should be certified in First Aid and CPR, Suicide Intervention and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training. Possess a valid drivers license and able to provide a Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector check (within the last 3 months.) Knowledge of the risk factors and protective factors of marginalized persons plus a working knowledge and experience working in a residential setting.
Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills. Solid writing and case management skills plus Demonstrated ability to maintain positive relationships. A more detailed job description will be provided to all applicants.
