Industrial Machine & Mfg. Inc. (IMM) is looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to be focused on meeting or exceeding all IMM Quality Standards. The successful applicant will be able to foster a quality culture throughout the company and provide leadership in developing and directing quality improvement initiatives.
Key Duties will include:
- Supporting continuous improvement by helping staff to adopt, incorporate quality methods and quality control tools into their work
- Performing quality checks on raw materials and finished products, including decision making and problem solving based on findings
- Following the IMM QA Manual parameters and ensuring the product meets standards
- Assisting in investigating and responding to all customer issues regarding quality
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with local, national, and international standards and legislation
- Performing gap analysis between applicable and current ISO standards; establishing and implementing a quality plan to maintain ISO compliance
- Performing internal QA audits that are compliant with company policies, practices, and procedures
The successful applicant will have relevant education/qualifications and/or significant industry experience.
