3twenty Modular is currently seeking an Architectural Technologist to join our team for a maternity leave term. This position involves providing technical and operational support to our team throughout the bidding, design, and construction phase of our project. This person will have a deep understanding and a high level of interest in building science.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Support the design and detailing of modular buildings, including drafting construction drawings, site plans and other building aspects as required
- Prepare detailed architectural schedules, window & door schedules
- Support the bidding and purchasing process with take off documentation and calculation
- Assist team in interpreting and using technical information
- Analyze and understand building code reviews to ensure code compliance in design work
- Interact with engineering consultants
- Assist with the creation of as-built drawing and documentation
- Assist with energy modeling efforts for projects

Education & Experience
- A diploma or certificate in building engineering technology, architectural technology, or similar
- Advanced knowledge of drafting software, preferably Archicad
- Working knowledge of National Building Code, National Energy Code
- Good understanding of building science and construction methodology
- Construction background an asset
