Central Plains Co-operative Ltd. is recruiting for the term position of Administrative Assistant for the Administration Office in Rosetown, with the term ending October 1, 2021. This position will be full-time during the term, as the individual will be scheduled for 40 hours per week.
Reporting to the Human Resources/Member Relations/Marketing Manager, the primary responsibilities of the position will include:
- Checking and data entry of sales summaries from all locations
- Filing of customer invoices
- Answering member and customer inquiries over the telephone and in office
- Assisting with asset protection and health and safety programs
- Assisting with marketing, advertising and social media postings as needed
- Assisting with event planning and promotions
- Assisting with coordinating donations and community initiatives
- Providing exceptional customer service
The individual must have strong communication skills, have an aptitude for detailed work, is highly organized and can be flexible and adaptable to a fast pace office environment. The candidate must have exceptional computer skills and have the ability to work independently with minimum supervision within a team environment. A valid Class 5 drivers license is required as travel will be needed to other Central Plains Co-op locations.
Previous administrative experience or education would be considered an asset.
Successful candidates will be asked to provide: work references, a Drivers Abstract and a Criminal Record Check.
