Description

Job Duties
Contributor with regard to budget preparation in conjunction with senior and operational management team
Contribute to the preparation and analysis of the financial statement package
Develop and measure standard company financial metrics
Prepare reports and statistics to support business operations
Prepare cost projections
Forecast revenues and expenditures and advise on future budgeting
Assist in standardizing plant operations with the goal of minimizing process yield loss and providing exceptional quality products and services
Liaise between the finance department and all other functional and operational departments
Communicate with Supervisors/Managers relating to financial close, issues and deliverables.
Lead new analysis and supports/guides Financial Analysts & General Accountants
Review financial statements and management reports for accuracy and consolidate them in timely manner
Assist in preparing monthly financial package including budget vs. actual reports, variance analysis, and P&L analysis
Review accounting transactions for data accuracy
Investigates complex reporting discrepancies and identifies root cause
Analyze efficiency reports. Exercise judgment based upon available data
Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis
Assist in development of financial policies
Identify opportunities for improvement or ways to increase efficiency, assist in development of a project plan for implementing improvements and monitoring the new process to ensure it works as intended
Analyze production bottlenecks and inefficiencies and suggest solutions
Research and prepare complex variance analysis and explanations.

Qualifications
- A bachelors degree in Business/Accounting, or equivalent education or experience
- CPA or CFA designation or MBA is a must
- A minimum of 7+ years experience with GL extensive and diverse related experience in financial role.
