Description

Vendasta is looking for developers to advance the frontend tooling and strategy. Working on the Wisakejak Team within the Infrastructure division they will be responsible for empowering and supporting development teams at Vendasta through the creation and adoption of tooling, the establishment of process, documentation, libraries, and example code. With developers as their primary customers, and paired with design resources, this team is focused on creating alignment over agreement along with educating, and coordinating to allow development teams to move quickly with consistency. Communicating and technology advancement in an open, public, and collaborative way are priorities for this team.

Responsibilities
Curate and augment world-class frontend training material for training our developers in frontend technologies
Work with the CTO (Chief Technology Officer) to realize the Vendasta vision of leveraging the latest frontend technologies to further our competitive advantage in both delivered product and talent recruitment
Develop plans for speeding up migrations to our new technologies and frameworks
Work with SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) team to leverage CI/CD for improved frontend development performance
Act as a bridge between Engineering and Design by designing and developing common components along with matching design prototypes
Skills & Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in and a strong understanding of highly scalable, data-intensive, distributed applications
Strong understanding of modern frontend practices and techniques including client-side templating, reactive programming, testing, debugging, and TypeScript.
Experience developing modern responsive web UIs with Angular, Vue or React
Preference for applicants with a Bachelors degree in software engineering or computer science, or 4+ years experience in a related field
