Description

Roles and Responsibilities
1.Responsible for providing, oversight, management, technical guidelines and expertise staff that provide facility maintenance, custodial services and activities, land restoration and management activities, energy and sewage management, land sustainability and overall planning and action implementation for lands and facilities of Wanuskewin.  
2.Oversee land management staff to ensure the implementation of resource management activities, as outlined by the 2017 WHP Resource Management Plan (RMP).
3.Ensure completion of building condition assessments, feasibility studies while ensuring maintenance and accessibility of associated data
4.Monitoring the effectiveness of implemented resource management strategies and implementing an adaptive management approach to ensure environmental targets and cultural goals are being met.
5.Maintain and manage the departmental Lands and Facilities budget and operating budget for bison management. Participates in budgeting and resource allocation, financial analysis and presentation of analyses to senior administration when necessary

Qualifications
    Seven to ten years in a senior management Facility Management and Operations capacity.  
    A degree in engineering, biology, environmental science, renewable resource management, or related natural sciences
    7 to 10 years of progressively responsible experience in engineering, biology, renewable resource management, project management, sustainability, energy management or a related field.
    Possession of valid and current Firemans certificate
    A class 5 drivers licence with acceptable drivers abstract and an acceptable criminal record check.
    Knowledge of HIPPO maintenance systems or related automated building and sewer systems.
