Description

What youll do:
You will provide leadership and direction for all activities associated with the operation, maintenance and life cycle management of process control systems including alarm management and rationalization, standardization of control systems, development of process control standards, policies and specifications.  

You will provide guidance and leadership for mid and long term planning related to the life cycle management of existing control systems.

You will manage the day-to-day operations of the control systems to ensure a high level of reliability is maintained.  Collaboration with the Process and Maintenance Teams will be an integral component of this role.

You will oversee all human resources matters within the area of responsibility and apply performance management principles as defined by the Performance Management guideline.

You will lead compliance with established procedures for Process Safety Management including the Management of Change Procedure.

You will plan and define the direction for ongoing development of the Process Control systems including standards, policies, procedures, and security.

You will establish department goals, lead tactical plans and monitoring progress to ensure completion.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Engineering & Engineering Technology and:
You have a B.Sc. in Engineering or related area
You have a minimum of 10+ years of relevant progressively responsible experience with process control systems and networking. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
P.Eng Designation is considered an asset.
