Thank you.
Northern Konstar Seed Potatoes is one of Saskatchewan's premier pedigree seed growers. We are looking to add to our roster of motivated seasonal employees.
Are you looking to join a small team of hard workers? Do you enjoy learning new skills, or sharing those you already have? Do you like working in a fast-paced environment?
If this describes you, then Northern Konstar wants you to apply. As a part of the harvest team, you will help to:
- Operate various pieces of farm equipment,
such as:
- Tractors
- Various farm implements
- Tandem Dump Trucks
- Tandem Live-Bottom Trucks
- Ensure the quality of the harvested product
- Ensure the timeliness of the harvest season
- Maintain the cleanliness and function of
different types of equipment
- Maintain a clean environment in the storage
shed
Those with previous potato farm experience and a 1A license will be considered first. In the absence of potato farm experience, experience driving 13-speed trucks in other environments will be considered an asset. Harvest is a weather dependent task - therefore, we will typically work 12-14 hour days, 7 days a week when the weather is good. This is an opportunity to work a lot of hours in a relatively short span.
We look forward to hearing from you!
