Thompsons Resort Restaurant servers, located at Thompsons Resort, 90km north of La Ronge, SK  are part of a faced-paced team responsible for the operation of Thompsons Resort Restaurant. This is a full-time position, 5 days per week and 8-10 hours per day.

Responsibilities:

    Taking customer orders both in the restaurant and over the phone and communicating with kitchen
    Selling and promoting menu and specials
    Serving alcohol
    Cleaning and preparing dining room
    Assisting and supporting kitchen staff
    Preparing bills and processing customer payments
    Balancing daily financials transactions
    Reporting customer feedback to management

Staff are provided with free-of-charge accommodations and two meals per day throughout the duration of the busy season (cold breakfast, hot lunch). 3rd meal at 60% discount. Fishing boats are available to staff members during off-work hours at a $10/use flat rate.


Qualifications:
    High school diploma preferred
    19 years of age (legal to serve alcohol in Saskatchewan)
    Serve it Right certificate
    Safe Food Handling certificate
    Culture awareness training an asset

Experience:
    Minimum 3-5 years experience in front of house restaurant service industry
    Proven success in a team environment
    Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism
    Strong customer service and guest relations skills
    Ability to multi-task and complete other duties as requested in a faced-paced environment
