Description

The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan (FCAA) is currently seeking a highly skilled, well-organized individual to provide senior administrative support to the Chairs Office as well as two internal branches and two operational divisions.    

In this position, your financial skills will be required to perform a variety of duties such as management of the divisions budgets, expenditure approval, annual financial reporting and monthly forecasting. You will be responsible for information and records management. Your organizational abilities will be leveraged to support the divisions in duties such as handling correspondence, scheduling, and coordinating meetings. You will support the Registrar in the activities of our Board and Authority. Lastly, through interpersonal skills, you will promote strong working relationships by receiving and sharing information in a discreet, timely and courteous manner.

Our candidate of choice for this position will have superior interpersonal and communications abilities. Professionalism and diplomacy is needed to earn and sustain the trust, respect and confidence of the Chair, Board Members, the Minister's Office, staff and stakeholders. Accuracy is required to compose a variety of documents and meeting minutes that are clear and concise. Typical qualifications for this position would be gained through Office Education and/or a suitable amount of related experience. Past experience in a government, a public sector environment, or a legal office would be considered a definite asset.
