Description

Based in one of the four (4) campus locations, The Manager  Applications & Integration Services reports to the Director  IT Operations and ensures the well-being of the enterprise applications within the organization. As a member of the Information Technology Services (ITS) management team, this position plays a key role in administrative leadership and strategic planning across the institution. The Manager  Applications & Integration Services will have two team leads in the areas of Integration Services and Enterprise Applications. A total of 8 positions comprising of full-time staff report directly and indirectly to the Manager  Applications & Integration Services. Part-time and student staff may also be included in the reporting structure as appropriate. The Manager  Applications & Integration Services role is to supervise and maintain the organizations repository of software applications through best practices and the appropriate staffing and management of a technical team. The Manager  Applications & Integration Services is also responsible for planning and coordinating the processes required for the provision of user applications and systems necessary for business operations. This individual will apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist their team on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems as appropriate. Travel is required between all Sask Polytech locations for administrative responsibilities, as well as travel provincially, nationally, and occasionally internationally to represent ITS and Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
