Job summary:
The Distillery Manager is primarily responsible for the set-up of this new facility and the managing of all aspects of the distillation process initially. The Manager takes care of the Distillerys business model, product development and performance.  This includes day to day safe operation of the distillery, its equipment and systems and the production process. This person is a leader, must possess and carry the vision for the distillery operation, as well as have excellent business acumen.

Responsibilities:
Support the Distillery owners in the day to day operations of the distillery
Oversees all aspects of the production of raw distillate through each stage of the process: raw material scheduling & receipt, milling, cooking, fermentation, and distillation.
Ensure the distillery equipment are used effectively and maintained correctly
Responsible for tracking distillery performance and developing key performance measurements
Ensure the cost of each production run remains compliant with the budget set out for it. Take every effort to avoid mistakes that can cause a loss on the production line
Ensure the necessary workplace safety regulations are strictly adhered to
Ensure all equipment remains in top working order
Ensure the distillery unit complies with environmental regulations
Collects and interprets data from the distillery control system for continual process improvement.
