We are looking for a permanent, full-time Special Investigator in Saskatoon. This role will be responsible for investigating suspected fraudulent activities perpetrated against the corporation by insureds, corporate agents, motor licence issuers, body shops and/or employees for SGI and its regional operations.  In addition, you will liaise with public law enforcement agencies and represent the corporation in court proceedings.  Some travel is required.

Requirements

To successfully perform the role, you must have specialized investigation training in the law enforcement field in accordance with the standards and requirements set by the Saskatchewan Police Commission to be appointed a Special Constable and Peace Officer in and for the Province of Saskatchewan.  You will also bring the knowledge & skills obtained from your ten years of directly related experience as a criminal investigator in the field of interviewing and interrogation, fraud, theft and arson.  A four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study such as Business, Social Sciences or Health would be considered an asset.  Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
