Position: Administrative Office Manager

Job Summary: Lakeland Library Region provides public library services to the cities, towns, and rural communities of west-central Saskatchewan. Lakeland Library Region is centrally administrated by a headquarters where all materials are ordered, processed, and sorted for delivery. Were currently looking for an experienced Administrative Office Manager to supervise and lead the daily operation of the Lakeland Library head office and support the outlying library branches administratively. This is a temporary position with an indefinite timeline. The goal is to ensure all support activities are carried out efficiently and effectively to allow office/region operations to function properly.
Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems to streamline processes
Recruit, train and supervise personnel. Evaluate and mentor staff
Ensure smooth and adequate flow of information within the organization
Manage schedules and deadlines
Monitor costs and expenses
Ensure operations comply with policies, regulations and the Collective Union Agreement
Prepare Board Meeting packages and help plan meeting agendas with the Board Chair
Report to the Board Executive Committee
Requirements:
Proven experience in administration and management
Familiarity with financial management principles
Possess and analytical mind with problem solving skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
A team player with leadership skills
Hours of work: Temporary Full-time 37.5 hours/week
Salary: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
