Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Category Manager Hardware on a permanent basis at our Home Office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
What you'll do:
Under the direction of the HABS Category Development Manager, this position is responsible to plan, develop and negotiate the programs and marketing strategies for the Home and Building Solutions Hardware category. This function will ensure retail Co-ops have complete, competitive and consumer focused programs. The Category Manager is responsible to search out opportunities allowing for increased sales, and margin for the CRS.
Develop the strategy (short to mid-term) and execution plan to ensure products and programs are marketed to consumers based on the needs of a changing consumer and marketplace.
Understand, analyze, and use CRS and industry data to compare pricing, product, and programs to ensure we are competitive in the industry. Use this data to create and execute strategies to grow the sections and align with department objectives and consumer scorecard.
Manage Business Category to achieve targeted objectives of sales, margins, inventories, turns and service levels.
Develop, maintain, and control internal pricing structures at item level, to meet targeted objectives.
Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Sales & Marketing and:
You have a Bachelors Degree in Commerce or Business Administration.
You have a minimum of 6-9 years of relevant progressively responsible experience in consumer wholesale/retail, with preference for marketing, buying, or customer service. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
