Description

Grain Millers, Inc. is a leading manufacturer and merchandiser of whole grain ingredients utilized in food products served around the world. While you may not know us directly, you almost certainly know our products. We have supplied food ingredients around the world for over 25 years.  
We are looking for a Trader's Assistant/Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This position will be responsible for coordinating the movement of inbound grain and outbound by-product as efficiently and cost effectively as possible ensuring accordance with Grain Miller's contractual obligations. Additionally responsibilities will include contract maintenance on by-products,  paperwork/customs documents, exceptional customer service and communication between Grain Millers,  producers, trucking companies, and by-product customers.
A successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
A post secondary education in agriculture or business, with three or more years of previous experience in the grain industry.
Demonstrated experience in MS Office Suite, including basic accounting skills with the ability to calculate figures and amounts including foreign exchange.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to manage multiple priorities and manage time appropriately.
Flexibility outside regular office hours
