Description

Duties:  The Circulation Assistant, under the general supervision of the Circulation Customer Services Consultant , is responsible for resource sharing through circulation according to library policy and procedures.  The Circulation Assistant also acts as a backup for office clerical support, which includes typing, word processing, and photocopying functions.

Qualifications:  possess a Grade 12 diploma, must hold a valid drivers license, must be familiar with basic office machines, word processing required.

Knowledge and Abilities:  must be reliable and prompt, must be able to take direction, must be able to work independently to complete assigned tasks, must be able to maintain confidentiality, must be able to alphabetize and follow numerical sequencing, must have a high level of accuracy and able to work well with people, fluency in Cree or Dene is an asset but not a requirement.
