Description

The Rural Municipality of Rosedale No. 283, a vibrant agricultural community located thirty minutes South of Saskatoon, is accepting applications for a Seasonal Equipment Operator position to start as soon as possible. The season ordinarily run from April 1st until October 31st each year but may be extended if weather permits.

Applicants must have experience operating a tractor and a grader. Additional experience operating other heavy equipment such as loader, excavator and dozer is considered an asset to the applicant.

Duties will include but are not limited to mowing, grading, mulching, maintaining roads, installing culverts, installing signs, servicing equipment and other duties as directed by Foreman.

The successful applicant should possess a valid Class 5 Drivers Licence, considerable experience operating the above pieces of equipment while maintaining a safe working environment, have excellent time management and communication skills, be detail oriented and have good mechanical skills. A Power Mobile Equipment (PME) competency certificate would also be considered an asset to the applicant.

The position includes a full benefit package comprising short-term disability, extended health & dental and a strong pension plan.

Rate of pay will correspond with experience.
