Working together to provide essential services to communities across Western Canada, we are hiring a Senior Buying Associate on a permanent basis at our Home Office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

What youll do:
You will initiate and/or receive and processes orders for building materials in truckloads and co-ordinates less than truckload quantities. Placement of retail orders for any and all products with FCL approved vendors based on supplier rating. Following up on orders as required, and investigate claims and complaints making adjustments accordingly.

You will co-ordinate Retail volume block buys and supplier quotation requests, including preliminary negotiation and co-ordination of some supplier purchase programs as assigned. This may also include supplier quotation requests for promotions.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Sales & Marketing and:
You have a two year Diploma from a Retailing or Business Administration program from a technical institute or university and two years of directly related experience in the Retail/Wholesale building materials industry.
OR
You have a High School Education and five years of directly related experience in the Retail/Wholesale building materials industry
