Data Integration Developer

Open to any location in Canada

Reporting to the Manager, Digital & Core Banking, the Data Integration Developer is responsible for defining and structuring the data layer used by our various business teams and business applications in a way that enables the wide variety of downstream reporting and integrations required from real-time to daily, weekly, and monthly reporting. Areas of responsibility include:
    Determine the desired architecture from data source to integration, distribution, and analysis for all business data domains
    Design, build and launch extremely efficient & reliable data pipelines to move data (both large and small amounts) from our Data Warehouse/Data Platform into downstream databases and data marts for analysis
    Work across multiple teams in high visibility roles and own the solution end-to-end
    Define, implement, maintain, enhance, and optimize the business metrics data layer for scalability and reliability
    Develop strategies to extract, resolve, and unify information of various types from numerous disparate data sources and integrate cohesively with external business applications
    Integrate internal applications to middleware/enterprise service bus/other applications through APIs
    Create algorithms and heuristics to extract information from large data sets and implement the algorithms in SSIS scripts
