Grain Millers is one of North Americas premier Milling companies that supplies customers in the bakery, wholesale and retail markets across Canada, USA and Worldwide.  Our flax division, located in Saskatoon, Sask., is seeking an individual to join our Production Team, in the position of Cleaning Plant Operator.
You will be responsible for operating various types of equipment in our flax operation such as, but not limited to, seed cleaning, color sorter, toting.  Additional duties will include loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing product using tractors, forklifts, augers, conveyors etc.  
Grain Millers Canadas safety policies and procedures must be followed at all times.    
The Cleaning Plant Operator will work 5 days per week, 8 hour shifts and overtime as required.

Required Qualifications:
-Experience in grain handling environment would be considered an asset
-Must possess the ability to operate equipment (ie augers) and have basic troubleshooting skills
-Ability to work in a grain processing environment which exposes staff to allergens such as, but not limited to, grain and grain dust.
-Must be able to work in an unsupervised environment and should possess effective problem solving and decision-making skills.
-Must be comfortable in working with heights and/or confined spaces
-Must be able to work in cold and hot temperatures.
-Must have good color perception
-Ability to assist in all aspects of maintaining plant cleanliness and deep cleaning of equipment during product changeovers.
-Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada.
-Employment is subject to successfully completing a criminal record check
