Job Description: The Clinical Nurse Educator integrates skills and knowledge from nursing theory and principles of adult learning in the provision of direct patient care, clinical coordination, clinical problem solving education and research for a defined group of patients and/or programs. The incumbent will provide leadership that is visible, pro-active, and promotes the delivery of patient care through the application of practice standards.  In consultation with the Director of Acute & Clinical Services, the individual is responsible for assessing learning needs of staff, planning, and implementing and evaluating designated educational activities/programs.  The Clinical Nurse Educator will use a consultative approach and research findings to provide support to health-care professionals as appropriate
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Certificate
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
