Lake Country Co-operative Association Ltd. invites applications for the position of Part Time Grocery Clerk to join our team at our Food Store location in Choiceland, SK.
Who you are:
-You have a grade 12 or equivalent experience; customer service experience is an asset
-Youre well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum of supervision
-Youre honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
-You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
-You must be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and a weekend rotation
-Completion of Serve It Right Program is an asset (or willingness to obtain)
What you'll do:
-Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience in person, on the telephone and at the point of sale
-Perform cashing duties, serve guests, pack groceries, stock shelves, face shelves and perform general housekeeping duties; perform post office duties as assigned
-Under the direction of the manager, to order, receive, price, and control inventory for the liquor commodity, as assigned
-Continually monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf at all times; follow FIFO
-Keep accurate records to support procedures and inventory management including completing paperwork required for claims, damages and shortages
-Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operatives vision, mission, values, brand, and focus on safety
