Position Description:
Horizon Manufacturing Inc. is a manufacturer of premium pet foods and is seeking an individual that is highly motivated and detail oriented. This individual will work with our Maintenance department ensuring that all equipment is kept in working order within our state-of-the-art production facility located in Rosthern, Saskatchewan (approximately 60 kms north of Saskatoon). Our foods use locally-sourced ingredients, are taken through an extrusion process, and packaged on-site. The successful candidate will have responsibility for maintaining all equipment, keeping track or work orders, ordering parts when necessary, and maintain a high level of cleanliness.

Experience and Education:
- Previous experience in maintenance is required
- Previous experience with any trades is an asset but not a requirement
- Previous experience with a HACCP program is an asset but not a requirement
- Experience in problem-solving mechanical and electrical systems will be highly valued
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely
- Experience or certification for forklift operation

- Must be a self starter that can organize time, priorities and problem-solve in real time
- Must be a clear communicator
- A detail-oriented individual who can break problems down, analyse them, and make necessary adjustments
- Must be a quick learner that can easily grasp new information

- Have the ability to make clear notes on paper and electronically
