Description

Reporting to the Service Supervisor, the Service Technician 1 will be expected to travel to customer locations throughout the Regina and the surrounding areas to perform Window and Door repair work as well as resolve customer inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

Valid class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract
Good verbal and written communication skills
Basic math and measuring skills
Customer service oriented
Mechanical aptitude
Glass industry or glazing experience preferred
Able to work independently or in a team environment
Knowledge of window and door installation and repairs preferred
Punctual, reliable and self-motivated
Able to work on a ladder
Able to work flexible hours according to workload
Able to work outdoors in inclement weather when required
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Mechanical aptitude
Desire to learn, responsible and enthusiastic
Basic working knowledge of commonly used hand tools/power tools
Customer service oriented
Positive attitude
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Window and Door, woodworking or related experience would be considered an asset but is not crucial to success in this role
Ability to lift 50-60lbs unassisted, 100lbs with assistance
Valid drivers license
