Description

Looking for one-part time and one-full time Home Care Aides to supervise and care for our sweet, quadriplegic, nonverbal (but he is starting to communicate), and energetic 4-year old toddler in our residence.

You will be responsible for:
-Bathing, dressing and feeding him
-Planning, preparing and serving healthy meals
-Performing housekeeping duties
-Oversee activities, such as age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading, rest periods and outings
-Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
-Tending to the emotional well-being of our toddler and support his social development
-Taking him to and from school and appointments
-May be required to keep records of daily activities and health information
-Performing other duties related to his care and comfort

As you will be weighing, lifting and turning our son as he grows, being physically strong is important

Education: Grade 12 but a Care Aide Certificate or Nursing education (diploma) is most certainly an asset.

Wage will be discussed as it is depending on experience, qualifications and education.
