The Executive Director will be aware that each First Nation is unique and develop prevention plans specific for those nations and ensure the implementation of TCFS Inc. Care service model which emphasizes the use of customary care, First Nation consultation and the involvement of the family in decision making. The Executive Director will ensure services delivered are consistent with the vision, mission and core values of TCFS Inc. The Executive Director will work collaboratively with the Management Teams and other Directors from the other service areas. The Executive Director will ensure that the agencys integrated services meet the requirements of Child and Family Services and other applicable Acts and that they are in line with the goals of the five individual First Nations customs, practices, and culture, Ministry licensing, service standards, and the agencys policies and procedures. The Executive Director will develop and maintain professional effective working relations with staff members, First Nations and other community service providers; assist with the development of policies, procedures and work plans and develop an organization where we are an employer of choice; and other duties that may be assigned by the TCFS Inc.
