Qualifications:
Experience working with disinfectants
Knowledgeable regarding safe sanitation
Must be reliable and willing to learn, able to take direction
Whimis an asset
Must pass YWCA Security Screening (must provide criminal record check and vulnerable sector check prior to hiring)
Must be able to work independently with little supervision;
Objectives:
To clean and sanitize Cold Weather Overnight Shelter
Duties:
Sanitize all areas used during the night this will include; cots, separation barriers, floors and walls
Wash down tables and chairs, counters and kitchen areas with approved cleaners
Laundry for the 10 cots
Provide feedback to management on shelter operation;
Follow the established policies and procedures of the Cold Weather Shelter;
Follow Covid-19 safety procedures;
Maintain confidentiality;
All other duties as requested
