eHealth Saskatchewan is a Treasury Board Crown Corporation, located in Regina, with the mandate to lead Saskatchewan Electronic Health Record (EHR) planning and strategy for the Province of Saskatchewan. Registries is seeking a motivated and organized individual to join its client focused team.  The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in the development, co-ordination and management of policy/planning projects.  This position will provide leadership within the unit, to other units and to both internal and external stakeholders and provider groups.
This position is responsible to coordinate and facilitate the preparation and submission of documents for legislation and regulations (new/ amending/ repealing), orders in council, ministers orders, cabinet decision items, cabinet information items, etc.  This includes drafting of documents relating to legislation, cabinet decision-making and implementation for the branch (i.e. The Vital Statistics Act and Regulations, The Change of Name Act and Regulations, the Medical Care Insurance Beneficiary and Administration Regulations, etc.) as well as reviewing changes to other provincial legislation that has an impact on the registries team.  
The position will also anticipate, monitor, and provide research expertise within the continually changing health system in Saskatchewan related to the Registration units portfolio.
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills to discuss complex issues with senior government and non-government agencies, interpret legal opinions, court decisions, etc.  This may also require preparation of formal written papers or consultation documents.
