Description

Building a culture of leadership development is front of mind for SGI and we believe that leaders are developed through all levels of the organization. Leadership culture development will transform how we work with customers, partners and each other. We're aiming for a culture that focuses on new strengths, balanced with some of what's always been important to our success. The successful individual for this role will be a team player that buys into this mindset and embody SGI's vision, missions and values.

We are looking for a permanent, full-time Auto Claims Compliance Manager in Saskatchewan. You will be responsible to monitor Claims Operations compliance with Corporate Claims audits, standards and procedures, regulatory requirements and governance protocols as they relate to auto claims processing.  You will provide guidance to claims branches on complex claims to ensure consistency and review and approve payments for large complex claims.  In collaboration with Corporate Insurance, you will evaluate and recommend changes to claims handling policies, processes and procedures.

Requirements

Candidates must bring the education and experience to succeed in this unique opportunity - after all, we're counting on you.  We are looking for candidates who have a four year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study such as business or social sciences and a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.  Candidates should have at least ten years experience in a field related to auto claims adjusting and four years leadership experience with progressively challenging responsibility.  An alternative combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
