Job Description: The Manager of Finance is accountable for providing input into and innovative service delivery for Regional Financial Services. This includes the preparation and interpretation of accurate, timely, financial information, which outlines the former Region's financial position, in conjunction with the Financial Services Team. The Manager of Finance promotes quality services through the development of policies and standards. The Manager of Finance provides leadership by acting as a resource, facilitator, coordinator, role model and advocate for Financial Services.
Required Qualifications

Chartered Professional Accountant or equivalent or a suitable combination of education and experience
Minimum 5 years accounting and budget experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent organizational abilities
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access)
Ability to work within time pressured environments.
Experience in unionized payroll.
Functions with a minimal degree of supervision
Ability to work cooperatively with and provide leadership and support to all finance, accounting and payroll personnel.
Excellent leadership, communication, analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to function effectively within the team of health providers
