The R.M. of Cana No. 214 invites applications for the position of part-time Office Assistant in the municipal administration office. This is a part-time position for approximately three days per week, seven hours per day, Monday through Friday 8:00a.m. 4:00p.m.
The successful candidate may have various types of experience in office assistant administration and possess well developed interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Please contact the municipal office for a detailed job description. Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following:
- Certificate from a business-related program or relative work experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs;
- Knowledge in basic accounting principles and practices;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; and
- Ability to deal effectively with the general public and to work independently.
