Job Description and Responsibilities

If you have an aptitude for automobiles and/or suitable experience, a solid work ethic, a record of success, and great customer service skills, we want to talk to you! We are currently seeking a temporary part time Counter Clerk to work at the Buck Auto Parts Regina location operated by EVRAZ North America. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Counter Clerk will receive, issue, handle, ship, and record all Bucks store items and take perpetual cyclical inventory counts.
    Issue materials from Bucks, record, and obtain necessary signatures
    Maintains records of incoming and outgoing items and equipment and obtains required signatures
    Report all tools and equipment lost or not returned
    Assists in loading and unloading material and signs necessary documentation
    Checks incoming materials against packing slips, reporting discrepancies or damage and places in correct location
    Takes perpetual inventory counts and completes orders
    Notifies appropriate personnel of any procedural abnormalities
    Keeps work area clean
    Observes and follows all safety rules and regulations
Job Requirements
    Completion of High School or GED equivalent
    No experience necessary but previous work experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar scrapyard/auto part environment will be considered an asset
    Knowledge of Automotive components is a definite asset
    Able to meet the physical demands of the position including standing, walking, sitting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, bending, moderate to heavy lifting, and pushing and pulling
    Computer literate with intermediate level of computer skills utilizing standard Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
