The Major preschool program (Major Play Pals) is seeking an early childhood educator to assist the current ECE. Our playschool program runs Thursday mornings for 20 weeks, beginning in October and ending in March. Successful candidates may be considered for the ECE position in the 2021-2022 program year. Applicants must have access to reliable transportation to and from Major.

- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
- Assess the developmental level of children
Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
- Observe children and report on observations to supervisor
- Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children
