Job Description: The Executive Secretary is accountable for providing confidential administrative and secretarial support, and for maintaining and promoting an efficient office environment to members of Executive Leadership Team (i.e. Vice Presidents), to assist them in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
Office Education certificate
Grade 12
Experience
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years related experience in progressively more responsible positions.
Health-related experience and/or working in a health care setting would be an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Excellent organizational abilities
Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
Typing speed of 65 accurate words per minute
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure
High level of competency
Must be proficient in all computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentation applications
An understanding and commitment to the vision, mission and values of the region
