The R.M. of Arm River, No. 252 invites applications for a full time seasonal heavy equipment operator position.

Preference will be given to applicants who have municipal experience in road maintenance, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to run heavy equipment. The applicant will be required to perform other general duties that the council may assign.  

Required qualifications:
-    The ability to establish effective work relationships with council,
administrator, foreman, co-workers,.
-    The willingness to follow direction and work unsupervised.
-    Experience in operating heavy equipment, road maintenance and construction is preferred.
-    Demonstrate high standards of work practices.
-    Promote and participate in workplace safety and best practices.
-    Be willing to acquire and upgrade skills as requested.
-    Hold a valid drivers license.
-    Provide a current clean driving record abstract.
-    Provide a current Criminal Record Check.
-    Must be bondable
-    Possess or obtain the Power Mobile Equipment Training Certification.
-    Mechanical skills would be an asset.
-    Organizational, communication and record keeping skills.
-    Salary will commensurate with experience.
