Description

SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified motivated individual to join our Operations team.  The Electrical Technician performs a variety of duties related to design recommendations, material procurement, project leadership, installation, project safety, commissioning, maintenance and repair of Corporate facilities, in accordance with standards, specifications and accepted industry practices.


Qualified applicants will possess:

- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Provincial or Interprovincial Journeyperson Electrician Certificate.
- Valid class 5 drivers license (copy must accompany job applications).

Additional Information

- Depending on location, standby is routinely scheduled or occasional.
- This job is subject to callout situations.
- Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters is required on occasion.
- This job requires significant travel time.
- This job requires extended work hours.
- This job is safety sensitive, and as such, is subject to the provisions of the Drug and Alcohol Policy (Pre-Employment or Pre-Placement for Safety Sensitive Positions).
- The job holder is required to be physically fit.
