The Deveraux Group of Companies is a growing organization specializing in real estate investment, development, construction and property management through-out Western Canada. We currently manage over $600 million of assets through a number of private equity funds and are currently developing, constructing and managing projects in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia.
We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Controller in Regina.
Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Assistant Controller will play an important role in our key financial-related activities including:
- monthly and annual financial reporting;
- budgeting;
- financing;
- tax compliance;
- tax planning; and
- operational accounting activities.
The ideal candidate is candidate for this position will be someone
- working towards or possessing a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation;
- with a minimum of 5 years experience with at least two of those years working autonomously;
- who has experience in the preparation of year-end working paper files and tax filings (corporate, GST, PST); and
- able to multi-task and has a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
