The Truck Driver position is perfect for an individual who enjoys frequent travel, is self motivated and has great communication skills.
Currently only interprovincial travel is required. This travel requirement is subject to change based on the status of Covid-19.
Essential Functions of the Job:
1. Delivery and picking up of Schulte products as scheduled by the Logistics Department
2. Operates tractor-trailer combination
3. Perform pre and post trip inspections on the vehicle and maintain Electronic Logs (e-logs)
4. Load and unload the truck
5. Perform routine maintenance on the truck and trailer
6. Short and long haul trips
7. Maintain accurate e-log records for trips and maintenance on vehicle
8. Drive truck within and between the United States and Canada
9. Be available to work anytime. Schulte Industries abides by the Commercial Vehicle Drivers Hours of Service Regulations
10. Perform work in the production facility and office as required
Education and Experience
Class 1A truck driving license
A current clean driving abstract and passport.
Valid passport
Mechanical experience/background preferred
Experience hauling flat decks, RGNs and step trailers
Experience with tying down loads/equipment and long haul travel
