Description

The Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) is a unique, multi-billion dollar organization based on the fundamental principles of co-operation. It is comprised of a network of approximately 250 autonomous retail co-operatives across Western Canada along with their branch operations, and Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL). FCL is the wholesaling/manufacturing arm of the CRS, which provides the retail co-ops with a range of products and services.

Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacy Clerk I is responsible ensuring the Pharmacy section of the Food Store is well-stocked for our guests. He/she is responsible for providing prompt, courteous and knowledgeable service to guests while ordering, receiving, warehousing, stocking and rotating merchandise in the Pharmacy Department. He/she creates and builds product displays, ensuring proper fronting of products, and handle product damages and credits according to company policy. He/she maintains a neat, clean and visually appealing sales area and warehouse/receiving area and performs other tasks as required in an efficient manner.

1. The Main duty of this position will be managing flu shot appointments.

2. Provide information, assistance and customer service in a manner that will promote the sale of merchandise in a friendly and courteous way
3. Unpack, check and prepare merchandise for sale

4. Maintain good housekeeping standards in the work area

5. Provide front end customer service as per required WORKING CONDITIONS Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 25 pounds; lift boxes up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis Ability to push or pull up to 1,350 pounds using a pallet jack Required to be on ones feet for an extended period of time

Must be available during the days (Mornings and Afternoons). Approximately 32 hours per week. Position will be approximately a 4 week duration.
