Description

PARTNERS Family Services is accepting applications for the position of Clinical Counsellor. PARTNERS staff provide a safe, confidential and welcoming environment that assists individuals and families to meet their immediate and on going needs. The Counsellor will primarily work with adult and youth clients facing a variety of challenges including mood disorders, trauma, grief, conduct disorders, family disharmony, etc.

Requirements:
- BSW/BISW/MPsych or other relevant degree and registration with an appropriate governing body
- A minimum of 2 years post-educational experience working with youth and adults in a counselling setting, with a focus on working with individuals with a history of trauma
- Experience with bereavement would be an asset
- Proficiency in intake, assessment, file management, case planning, etc
-Experience collaborating and with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordination of services to clients
- Strong team work capacity, highly organized, and capable of managing varied demands
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor
- Computer competencies
-Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector screening
