Description

We are currently recruiting for a Director, Student Affairs who will work as part of a team dedicated to the success of employees and the organization.  This is an out-of-scope position reporting to the Vice President, Academic and is primarily responsible for overseeing all non-academic aspects related to the lives of our students including, but not limited to, career counseling, student housing, and financial assistance.
  
The minimum qualifications for this position are A Bachelor'ss Degree in Social Work, Education or an Arts degree majoring in Psychology, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive related administrative and managerial experience in student affairs and providing guidance in conflict resolution, preferably in a post-secondary setting.  Preference will be given to candidates with a Masters in a relevant discipline.  Specialized education in conflict resolution or formal training in conducting investigations is an asset.  A valid driverss license is also a requirement.

This position will serve the entire Northlands region and will be based out of our beautiful Rock Campus, overlooking Lac la Ronge.  La Ronge is a thriving community situated just over two hours north of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.  The College provides a full range of programs and services including, Adult Basic Education, Trades and Technical programs, University programming as well as Student Services and Career Services.
