Student Support Worker

The Student Support Worker would be assigned the following responsibilities as outlined by Administration:
-    promotion of a positive, healthy school environment
-    help promote positive student attendance patterns
-    manage attendance information with students
-    assist administration and staff to liaise with families
-    assist with transportation needs
-    facilitate language translations, if possible
-    assist with student intakes
-    assist with reception duties as necessary

This is temporary full-time position to commence as soon as possible until
June 28, 2021.  The salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate must possess:
-    school experience (or related experience with children/youth)
-    a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license
-    cross-cultural experience
-    good communication skills
-    experience with Office 365 tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook would be considered an asset.

A Youth/Child Worker certificate (or equivalent) and the ability to speak Cree would be considered assets for this position.  For further information, contact the Principal, Dean Squires at 306-425-5680.
