Description

Good Spirit School Division is currently looking for a Grant Coordinator. This position is responsible for approving, applying, securing, monitoring, and following up on external sources of funding to assist all departments of GSSD.  This position will represent the Division in a positive, professional manner and serve as a primary point of contact and liaison with organizations offering external sources of funding.

To be eligible for this position, the successful candidate must meet the following criteria:
-Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check must be submitted in order to be considered.
-In possession of a valid Social Insurance Number at time of hire and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
-Valid Driver's License.

The successful candidate must have the following education and qualifications:
-Post-secondary degree in business administration or a combination of education and experience.
-Knowledge of community development processes.
-Ability to work with a variety of groups, each with diverse interests and perspectives.
-Interpersonal communication (oral and written) and group facilitation skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Ability to travel and work flexible hours.
-Computer skills.

The successful candidate will be paid on a monthly basis.  Based on 3 hours a day with flexible hours and home based work. The annual salary ranges from $17,425 - $20,436 depending on qualifications. The position has financial performance incentives attached based on the amount of money secured through external sources of funding.
